Our client is looking for Site Controller that is excited to join a tech company that is constantly improving and reinventing the logistics industry.

Description

• Identifying cost out opportunities by linking up operations and financial metrics
• Owning the financial and operational planning processes to produce budget and forecast
• Preparing monthly and weekly reports and explaining differences between actual data and budget/forecast
• Participating in month-closing activities such as: accruals, costs reclasses, bookings verification and costs verification
• OPEX and CAPEX expenses approvals (incl. ROI verification of projects)
• Day to day controlling activities including cost controlling and financial analysis
• Understanding the details of the cost structure to make thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous environments where data may be difficult to procure.
• Providing reliable information to support tactical and strategic business decisions that lead to business improvements and cost reductions

Profile

• Degree and work experience in finance as financial controller or senior financial analyst
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office
• Experience in driving financial results (costs, margins, productivity)
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, PowerBI, Tableau) and providing recommendations based on results of ad hoc analyses to management for strategic decision-making
• Ability to draw logical conclusions and provide insightful information
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
