About the project

Project information:

• Location: Warsaw (hybrid model of work: 3 days from the office, 2 days from home)

•Type of employment: contract of employment or B2B contract

• Remuneration: up to 11 000 gross on contract of employment or 11 000 net + VAT on B2B

• Level: Junior

• Project language: Polish and English

• Contract length: Indefinite/ long-term

• Start date: depending on candidate’s availability

Your responsibilities

  • Monitoring SIEM alerts, logs, and dashboards to identify patterns, trends, anomalous activities and potential security incidents / indicators of compromise.

  • Assisting in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify potential security weaknesses.

  • Taking part in ongoing security awareness initiatives, educating employees about cybersecurity best practices.

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies through continuous learning and training.

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to investigate security events and determine the scope and impact of incidents.

  • Contribution to the development and improvement of security policies, procedures, threat analysis reports, and controls to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Our requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience working as a Junior Security Administrator, Junior Security Engineer, 1st Line SOC Analyst or in related positions.

  • Knowledge about configuring, managing, and optimizing SIEM platforms to collect and analyse security event data from various sources.

  • Experience with EDR tools to deploy and manage endpoint agents, ensuring real-time threat detection and response capabilities.

  • Familiarity with threat hunting techniques and tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2 level).

  • Capability to effectively manage time and priorities in a dynamic work environment.

  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate configurations, adherence to security protocols, and proper documentation.


  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or relevant SiEM/EDR vendor certifications are beneficial.
