Your responsibilities
Design, code, and manage automated scripts in Powershell
Build playbooks in SOAR (Python)
Process, tools, and data feeds automation
Triage and remediation of security events, incidents and anomalies escalated by Tier 1 and 2, by following SOC procedures or escalating to other teams (Incident Response, Operations, IT)
Deliver metrics from your area of responsibility
Identify opportunities for SOC processes and procedures improvement related to security, controls, compliance, access management
Ensure confidentiality and protection of sensitive data
Our requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information security or related engineering major
2+ years’ experience in Cyber Security
Strong analytical skills
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Experience in PowerShell scripting
At least basic Python scripting experience
Good knowledge about Active Directory, LDAP, Networking, Application Protocols, Operating Systems and Cyber Security
Experience with IPS/IDS, antivirus, content filtering, firewalls, load balancers, virtualization environment, cloud services, Windows Server, and Unix operating systems
Ability to perform job functions with considerable independence and judgment
Possess superior problem-solving skills
Passionate about technology and security
Willing to learn
Very good written and verbal communications skills in English
Preferred previous experience in: SIEM/SOAR/UEBA maintenance, SOC Analyst role, Networking and/or infrastructure, Behavioral Analytics, Vulnerability Intelligence, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS
