    Engineering Design Center was created in the year 2000 under an agreement between General Electric and the Institute of Aviation and gathering passionate people in different areas of expertise like engineering, software and analytics. With dynamic organization growth we are looking for candidates for position below.

    Role Summary / Purpose

    As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high integrity software. You will take an innovative approach to problem-solving and share technical knowledge with others in the group, team and across the organization. Due to broad project portfolio, you will be given a chance to work with different technologies in projects ranging from avionics to data science.
    Our team consist of qualified professionals with broad technical background. We work in a demanding environment where people's safety is a number one objective. Yes, software engineering in aviation is a serious business, but it does not stop us from having some fun together after work.


    • Execute the requirements, design, implementation and verification of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures and product / program requirements
    • Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
    • Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
    • Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
    • Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Degree in Engineering or related
    • Proficiency in one of the leading programming languages (preferably C/C++ or Swift)
    • Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
    • Knowledge of modern approaches to software development (including TDD, Agile, design patterns, continuous integration)
    • Good problem solving and solution building skills
    • Very good oral and written communication skills both in Polish and English


    • Experience designing and implementing embedded software and/or mobile applications
    • Knowledge of safety critical software development
    • Experience with real-time operating systems
    • Experience of RTCA DO-178B / EUROCAE ED-12B or similar rigorous development standard
