Description

In the Software License Management Program we are currently implementing consistent processes and deploying a new tool across all Divisions and Functions which will provide a holistic view of all Software Entitlements the bank owns, usage information of key products and allows us to manage risks and optimize the Software spend of the bank.

 

If you are passionate about software license management and ready to join our central license management team we are currently building up, we offer you very interesting role as Software License Manager.

 

The central license management team will be responsible to onboard existing and new Software products in the tool, monitor progress and maintain Effective License Position information together with License Managers or Product Owner in the Divisions and ensure data quality for various asset inventory and usage information.

  • Configure and maintain Effective License Positions (ELP) in the SLM tool
  • Analyzing discovered consumption information and link them to the correct software product
  • Collect special consumption information from Divisional License Manager and complete ELP
  • Identify over- or under-deployments, validate those with Divisional License Manager to avoid compliance risk or miss cost optimization opportunities
  • Prepare regular reporting
  • Contract renewal or software audit support with complete and accurate information and commentary
  • Partner with Divisional License Manager, Sourcing department and License Owner during Software evaluation and onboarding or identify and complement missing contract information
  • Participating in the bank-wide Software License Management user community
  • SLM tool support to Divisional License Manager
  • Analyze consumption data and work with IT tool support to improve the level of automation

Qualifications

  • Degree in a Business, Commerce or IT subject
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management in a global organization; CSAM certificate will be an advantage
  • Experience with a SAM tool, ideally Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS)
  • General understanding of IT software systems, infrastructure and software procurement processes
  • Practical knowledge of product portfolio and licensing of at least one of the key vendors, i.e. Microsoft, Oracle, BMC, Citrix, VMware, IBM will be an asset
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. Pivot)
  • Highly motivated positive personality with a superb interpersonal skills in English to be able to cooperate in diverse environment.
  • Great self-starter teammate and dedicated problem solver and you are happy to take initiative to improve
