    Software Support Engineer (Testing/QA)


    We are looking for people wanting to learn or expand their QA and Test Automation skills and knowledge, people who are QA, Testers or Support Engineers and want to actively participate in development of Test Automation application called TestMaster.

    TestMaster is the most advanced and innovative automation testing software made for Avaloq, by Avaloq experts. TestMaster supports all recent trends in development lifecycle helping in continuous integration and DevOps processes implementation. With various testing approaches TestMaster offers wide coverage using FrontEnd, API and Web testing

    Your main responsibilities

    • Provide 1st, 2nd and in future 3rd level support and real-time resolution on customer issues for Orbium Inc internally developed applications focused on Test Automation (TestMaster)
    • Test clients issues on current and development builds and participate in daily development and testing process
    • Handle requests of international private banks and our internal team located in Europe (Zurich, London, Paris, Geneva, Frankfurt, Luxembourg) and APAC (Singapore, Hong-Kong, Manila) region
    • Provide solutions based on gathered and analyzed data from clients, own investigation and testing
    • Communicates and coordinates with development team, clients and other internal testing teams for swift resolution of tickets (in future help with internal test development projects)
    • Maintain test and support environments, Support Knowledge Base site for internal and external use
    • Provide remote and sometimes on-site support activities at client premises

    Your qualifications

    • University degree in IT/computer sciences/engineering or equivalent 
    • Between 1 up to 5 years of relevant experience in support/testing (finance industry experience would be an asset)
    • Experience in Oracle SQL / PL SQL would be an asset
    • Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
