    This highly visible, global role will be responsible for advising JLL Clients to bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions. The main objective of this role is to provide support and oversight over Business Intelligence products and services delivery within given timeliness and cost budgets keeping consulting standards for project stakeholder management.

    • Gathering, reviewing, interpreting and documenting business requirements and specifications from clients and users to gain a complete sense of client expectations and limitation. As part of this process, the solution architect may examine existing systems, applications and data sources to identify areas for improvement and integration
    • Develop project specifications including: preparation of schedules and test plans, preparation documentation based on analyst reports. Including documentation of solution strategy, project roadmap, guidelines and milestone, as well as identification of potential issues between systems and client specifications and propose new solutions to work around these limitations
    • Determining a project’s scope by assessing tasks necessary to create the designed solution and align the project with enterprise-level systems
    • Leading the Development team overseeing the activities, answering questions or helping to resolve issues as they arise. This aspect of the role requires the solution architect to ensure that specifications and requirements are clearly articulated to their development team
    • Monitoring timelines and progress to ensure that team members are adhering to documented specification and serving as a liaison between client-facing personnel and developers to ensure alignment between customer expectations and designed solution capability
    • Interface Directly with Clients from the initial conversations to determine project scope and specifications to the final presentation of software solutions, gathering clients feedback and providing updates on development projects
    • Preparing reports and presentations, as well as demonstrations, to keep the client informed about issues that arise during development and report on integration and deployment. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
    • Establish and promote project guidelines, best practices, tools and standards
    • 6+ years of relevant experience gained in the design and implementation of data or analytics focused solutions supporting strategy planning, decision making. A consulting, real estate, FSI industry experience will be strong plus
    • Master’s Degree
    • Strong architectural and technical background; significant experience of delivering both custom solutions and of integrating enterprise applications, and associated architectural patterns and styles
    • Appreciation of a variety of architectural styles such as Service Oriented Architectures including Microservices, Event Driven Architectures, Client-Server Architectures, REST etc.
    • Ability to assess 3rd party products and technologies, along with being able to evaluate whether to take a build or buy approach
    • Experience of IT Architecture (and underlying frameworks such as TOGAF) including the development (and ensuring adherence to) Architecture principles and standards. A very strong plus if proven by recognised Professional Certification such as BCS or IEE certification and Architectural recognition form an external body such as TOGAF or the BCS is desirable
    • Knowledge of UML including functional decomposition, use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, components, and API design will be a strong plus
    • Project Management skills and demonstrable ability to deliver high-quality work
    • Passion for understanding and resolving business problems from multiple perspectives
    • Strong commitment to owning a distinct piece of the project or entire workstream and interpersonal skills to work on a daily basis with team members and client stakeholders
    • Ability to work under pressure and stick to stringent timescales
    • Exceptional people skills and proven ability to mentor and develop more junior colleagues
    • Excellent communication, written and presentation skills, as well as good organisation skills
    • Experience in supporting BI / IT solutions or data visualisation – will be a strong plus
