    The offer

    As a Solution IT Architect, you will both, complement and learn from our existing Architects. By balancing requirements on the architecture against Nordea standards and our Simplification agenda, you’ll focus on finding the right approach to move forward towards the target architectural vision.  
     
    The Transaction Monitoring IT team is responsible for developing IT solutions to meet business and regulatory needs in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF) compliance.  
     
    You’ll be doing:  
    • Drive IT architecture work and translate strategy and business requirements into concrete roadmaps and actions.  
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT Analysts and Developers, IT Line Managers and Project Managers during the different phases of the platform development.  
    You will join an international environment where you will work with off-shore and near-shore partners. In our multi-cultural setting, you will manage boundaries and interact with stakeholders at different organisational levels.

    Your background:  
    • A relevant Bachelors/Master degree  
    • Proven experience in the Architect role or Architect certification and training  
    • Good understanding of IT infrastructures, e.g. UNIX, DB2, WebLogic  
    • Some understanding of Batch and Real-time processing  
    • Professional skills in English  
    • Business knowledge (Professional level)  
    • Conceptual thinking (Professional level)  
    • Enterprise architecture (Professional level)  
    • IT solution architecture (Professional level)  
    • Software engineering (Excellent level)  
    If you have any of the following it would be considered an advantage:  
    • Finance/Bank experience  
    • Agile IT development  
    • SEPA/SWIFT transactions  
    • Hadoop, Big Data skills  
    • SQL/Database skills  
    • Mainframe knowledge
