About the project
As the Solutions Developer, you will work on Acxiom and third-party software to build for business requirements. You will draw upon technical and data processing knowledge to solve moderately complex marketing and data warehousing problems on very large volumes of data. You may configure or tune Acxiom or third-party software, develop automation to tie components together, or develop custom application code to accommodate specific business requirements or collaborate with others to add extensions to existing Acxiom software. You may also be responsible for new development, ongoing maintenance, support, and optimization working closely with accounts teams who are utilizing the solution.
Your responsibilities
- Read and interpret application design and functional specifications to write application code
- Provide consultation on functional requirements and participate in reviewing code in code review sessions
- Identify and diagnose areas of maintenance, performance issues, and process improvement
- Use pertinent software language, develop/execute unit test cases and test software applications that fulfill functional specifications using an IDE: Document and interpret test results and accurate application coding errors
- Complete application development task for short duration programming requirements with limited assistance
- Work on larger projects to meet due dates and deadlines
Our requirements
- Java skills, in particular: Spring Framework hands-on experience (RestController and building REST servies), JPA, caching data with Spring, understanding SOAP services, Tomcat, Maven configuration
- SQL queries
- Experience in executing and adjusting DML queries
- VanillaJS hands-on experience
- Good English language skills
