Experience / Personal Qualities:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Strong analytical skills, initiative and ingenuity to solve complex problems and implement remedial measures
  • Negotiation skills supporting resolution of judgmental issues
  • Project and team management experience. Proven skills to deliver to time, cost and quality.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with external partners delivering mutual benefit
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, self-starter and highly self-motivated
  • Demonstrate drive, energy and sense of urgency in delivery
  • Effective communication with key stakeholders/team members
  • Master's Degree in relevant field
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Knowledge and experience of the SAP Ariba

About The Role:

The GPO will be responsible for:

  • Full accountability in end-to-end Source to Requisition global process
  • Ensure proper controls in processes and establish appropriate governance
  • Drive process standardisation and ensure scalability, efficiency and effectiveness through the use of technology
  • Utilise intelligence from external sources/best practice to deliver best-in-class processes and continue to drive improvements
  • Define and execute a roadmap to implement best-in-class solutions

 Specific Tasks:

  • Lead the design and execution of a global strategy for the Source to Requisition processes, including associated policies and technologies
  • Review existing processes, structures, and systems with a focus on simplifying and standardizing them and setting up KPIs and success criteria
  • Drive process transformation with a focus on reducing process costs and maximizing investment returns
  • Assess opportunities for service improvement and/or expansion against business objectives and determine means to implement new and innovative technical and process based solutions
  • Execute process excellence strategy
  • Identify market best practices regarding process and technology and identifies the opportunities
  • Maintain a strong relationship with delivery teams to ensure they bring value to GBS through efficient and simple Source to Requisition processes
  • Improve internal control environment to more efficiently monitor transactions
  • Identify areas for improvement within Source to Requisition and facilitate design and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify and eliminate root cause of possible issues
  • Ensure effective utilisation of Source to Requisition systems landscape to maximise standardization and automation
  • Ensure that processes transitioned are in line with design of Source to Requisition blueprint for processes, technology and ways of working
  • Own and develop training material
  • Benchmark shared services organization against other companies and stay abreast of process trends and leading practices to formulate strategic direction and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure governance structure is effective and aligned with stakeholders
  • Actively engage and lead stakeholders to embrace and adopt the globally standardized processes, with regional and local requirements customization required for legal/tax compliance.
  • Ensure collaboration with other Centres globally and partners
