Your responsibilities

  • As a Sourcing Buyer you will be responsible for identifying and developing potential new suppliers, which would benefit the supply chain.

  • You will be also responsible for purchasing of strategic components.

  • In your role will be responsible for:

  • Purchase goods, materials, components in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets

  • Identify sources for new components,

  • Maintain delivery schedules and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations

  • Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities

  • Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods

  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers

  • Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications

Our requirements

  • Proven experience of working in a purchasing team

  • Min BA degree in economics, Supply Chain Management or Engineering

  • Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding and cost breakdown

  • Good organization and analytical skills

  • Experience of working closely with suppliers

  • Good communication skills , fluent in English

  • Good PC knowledge – MS office package, MRP systems

  • Experience in  electronic or EMS industry- will be an asset

  • SAP knowledge- will be an asset
