Joining Group Sourcing and Procurement, you will be making up the new Sourcing team in Poznan, Poznan and be responsible for handling end-to-end sourcing operations.
Being based in Poland, you will regularly check in with your manager and the Cold End team, and you will work with key stakeholders such as the category director, the category manager, the purchasing director, Supply Chain, etc. Basically, the set-up will be brand new, and you will play an important part in determining exactly what amazing DNA the role will be made up of.
This is the role
Focusing on Logistics, your goal will essentially be to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the categories’ spending, supplying partnerships with vendors and key suppliers and identifying new opportunities. This entails prioritizing and executing the sourcing pipeline in line with the category strategy and developing comprehensive actionable recommendations which translate analytic results into detailed action plans.
With continued cost reduction and improvement as critical tasks, you will be:
- Developing sourcing strategies together with the category manager and regional purchasing manager
- Managing sourcing stage gate approvals and preparing presentations which enable the team to come to a conclusion
- Managing and leading supplier workshops, presenting discussion materials and leading brainstorming exercises
- Ensuring good governance towards sourcing SOP and keeping abreast of industry and market trends as well as best practices
- Negotiating pricing and making plans for risk mitigation together with key stakeholders

As the role and the team will be new, it is important that you have an entrepreneurial mindset and can independently pioneer the area with a remote manager. You are also a great communicator – whether it comes to negotiation, sharing ideas or motivating colleagues. And – you are not afraid to challenge the status quo and make your mark on our new sourcing team.
- You hold a degree in e.g. finance, business management, logistics, supply chain management or similar
- You have 5 to 8 years of experience in sourcing and procurement/category management
- You have hands-on experience with sourcing software and as a process expert
- You are fluent in English
