Your responsibilities
developing strategy for assigned commodities and suppliers
delivering good negotiation results and mitigating inflation
driving market benchmark and supplier change in terms to achieve cost reductions
supporting NPI´s as a project member
supporting execution of strategy in the region
supplier relationship management
delivering business results related to savings KPI targets, as part of an annual budget (including development/execution of savings)
projects and ongoing negotiations with suppliers
Our requirements
excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in supply chain, logistics-related field, or engineering
MBA is a plus
proficiency in Excel
min 7-10 years of experience in purchasing or sourcing roles in manufacturing-related industries
experience in strategy, finance, and/or project/program management desired
experience in international contract review
ability to travel as needed

We are currently looking to hire a Sourcing Manager to join our Global Sourcing team. The position will be based in our factory in Opole.
Performance objectives
working with directors of sourcing to develop 3 years strategy for assigned commodity
assisting other global commodity managers in execution of their assigned strategies (including execution of identified savings initiatives or strategic negotiation in-region)
mentoring and coaching junior team members to high grade talent
benchmarking and negotiation with supplier to achieve price reductions or other measures, supporting ESAB margin position
mitigating overall inflation in supply base and drive cost saving related projects
taking full commercial management with dedicated group of suppliers and commodities, developing strategy and act as “owner” of commodity performance at a global company, working with leadership, creatively solve supply chain problems in challenging market environment.
