The Sourcing Manager is responsible for supporting our factory all procurement and logistics in close collaboration with our Engineering, Sales Support and Production departments. Key functions are to develop and support strategic sourcing plans, execute productivity and sourcing initiatives, support manufacturing facilities to ensure continuity of supply, manage exposure to price fluctuations, support new product development initiatives, ensure supplier alignment with product/component quality requirements and support supplier service resolution issues as required.
Ensure the highest quality and lowest cost of inbound materials for manufacturing operations.
Work with other departments to ensure best on time delivery and fill rate objectives are met.
Work in conjunction with IT and other operations groups to support systemic process changes in ERP platform across facilities.
Work with other stakeholders to develop, refine, or support management reporting tools to clearly communicate both tactical operational efforts and long-term strategic plans for sourcing.
Drive year-over-year productivity improvements in Quality, Delivery and Cost, while aligning needs with company objectives.
Drive and support payment terms improvement.
Drive and support SKU rationalization and simplification where appropriate.
Minimum a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field from an accredited university.
2+ years' experience managing operations or procurement functions, preferably in a B2B environment.
Demonstrated experience in developing short term and long-term goals and building a team to drive those goals.
Technical skills in material and inventory management, preferably with a manufacturing environment.
Ability to analyse and synthesize data quickly.
Must have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within a team environment.
Strong skills working in a team environment.
Must have experience maintaining high level of activity working with several projects simultaneously.
Strong commitment to the highest standard of personal and professional integrity.
Self-motivated with the ability to succeed with little supervision.
Fluent in both Polish and English is a most. A third language is a plus.
