Identification, development and execution of the sourcing activities across whole-Hiab.
Successful cross-functional participation in New Product Development, Supplier relationship Management (SRM), early supplier involvement and selection with technology development, productivity, total cost reduction make/buy programs.
Support new product development by taking ownership and leading all sourcing deliverables within own area of responsibility, inc fulfillment of technical requirements, quality and delivery assurance deliverables.
Lead the QAP process with support of Category Supplier Development.
Manage and improve the Hiab-wide supplier performance using category supplier development resources and QDCI balanced scorecard methodology to monitor and improve performance across key metrics.
Identify, track, and implement savings actions.
Hiab-wide RFP preparation, analysis and negotiation
Developing open costs, budgets and raw material forecasts for suppliers in the range.
Assessment and development of the supply base.
Close collaboration with delivery planning to support capacity planning and scalability / flexibility planning.
Identification and development of new production partners in BCC countries to support current and future business needs.
Contract negotiation, including payment deadline, quality / warranty / logistics appendices and raw material indicators.
Development of supplier risk mitigation programs to minimize disruptions within the category and business line.
Provide support for escalation, implementation of recovery plans, and resolution of supplier quality / delivery issues.
To follow and maintain all appropriate purchasing processes and systems in accordance with Central Sourcing and Group Policy.
Degree Level or Equivalent, with relevant engineering and/or industrial experience.
At least 3 years of relevant global industrial experience (truck, construction machines, mining, agriculture or automotive).
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in sourcing roles in an international and multi-site company.
Experience in working with large suppliers with global multi-site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiations.
Project management, cross-functional improvement teams and supplier development programs.
Experience in using ERP systems (Preferably LN.10).
Experience in complex steel assemblies / hydraulic systems / electrical & electronics preferred.
Excellent knowledge in sourcing methods; supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, analytical skills and legal/contractual knowledge.
Continuous improvement mindset with a business-driven and fact based approach towards suppliers with a focus on building long-term relationships.
Excellent communication, cooperation and influencing skills when working with different senior level roles internally within Hiab and Cargotec and externally with different suppliers.
BCC/LCC Sourcing in EMEA and APAC.
