Your responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the HR data dictionary, org codes, and data definitions in a fast paced environment.

  • Manage system access permissions policy and compliance, structure, and maintenance.

  • Oversee HR systems and shared tools (i.e., shared drives, Teams, etc.).

  • Format and organize the global job catalog library, assuring all postings are up to date and accurate.

  • Preside over global policies and regulations related to global systems.

  • Publicize BASF ECMS documents as needed.

  • Oversee annual job grading and promotions, aiding business units through review cycles as well as promotions.

  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives to track various metrics.

  • Handle overtime policies and the application of them within BASF ECMS, insuring BASF ECMS employees understand overtime policies and abide by all their stipulations.

  • Provide support for HR Business Partners during reorganization efforts and operational and administrative hierarchy management, as well as during any other similar initiatives.

  • Look after data quality, regularly instituting data clean-up efforts in order to maintain organized, easily accessible data.

  • Flexibility in working hours needed to support global organization with offices in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific – may require some evenings and some International travel to accommodate time differences.

Our requirements

  • Educated to degree level and / or post graduate diploma in HR management or a tangential field. (i.e., Communications).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within HR.

  • Experience in governance, policies and auditing.

  • Strong Excel skills is necessary – HR SAP Success Factors experience is a plus.

  • Fluent in English and Polish, both spoken and written.

  • A proactive and solution-based mindset is essential for this role, equally important is critical thinking.

  • Ability to work as part of a professional team and manage a demanding customer base and progressive workload is essential.

  • Ability to lead business units through annual processes.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment is crucial.

  • Comfortable working closely with senior level management.

  • Advanced communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.
