Answers incoming customer calls and emails in a professional and prompt manner, as per established KPIs.
Acts as primary contact for customers on all incoming inquiries, including: price requests, lead times, product availability, ship dates, freight rates, tracing orders and invoicing issues
Accepts, verifies, processes, confirms and updates customer orders received by phone, fax, email, and EDI
Creates 3rd party purchase requisitions for specific customer/technician orders
Generates ad hoc reporting i.e. sales, back log reports, consignment, etc.
Works with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain in the identification of potential inventory shortages, and executes the final allocation of products to customers
Coordinates urgent shipments with warehouse
Executes and maintains records for all customer care related tasks involving product recalls
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Provide backup coverage & assistance within the department
Follow internal controls requirements and complies with company’s policies and procedures.
Participates in processes improvement initiatives
Working time according to EST time 8:30-16:30 i.e. 14:30-22:30 CET, based on rotating time schedule and Canadian holidays calendar
Very good knowledge of French and English (written and oral) required.
Experience in Customer Service especially in the SSC environment will be a strong asset
Detail-oriented, accurate, well organized, flexible and open to changes,
Ability to work in a team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to work in an open and multicultural environment
Intermediate IT skills (MS Windows, MS Office, general IT understanding)
Basic knowledge of SAP will be an asset but is not required

The Bilingual Customer Service Representative provides customer service support to external customers in both official languages.
