Your responsibilities

  • Be responsible for delivering efficient and high-quality master data management services together with your team members in alignment with UPM strategy, needs of Business Areas, Global Functions and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain Logistics and Product Master Data according to our policies, data standards and instructions and continuously improve data quality and way of working

  • Manage business relationship actively e.g. towards UPM Communication Papers Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Logistics in Europe, take ownership of requests and issues as well as solve & follow them through to resolution

  • Conducting agreed data cleansing activities to remove old, unused data, or duplicate data for better business usability and risk prevention

  • Develop service procedures, policies, standards and tools/systems in coordination of your team lead and colleagues

  • Continuously seek for improvement opportunities and new ways to automatize data management activities

  • Encourage towards unified way of working, service excellence, continuous improvement and measure data quality and performance; promote collaboration and usage of master data best practices

  • Ensure from your side that policies, guidelines and data standards are followed in your daily work

Our requirements

  • You have bachelor or master’s degree or similar education

  • You have 2-3+ years of related work experience

  • You are fluent in English and appreciate working in a truly international environment; it is beneficial if you know any other languages

  • You are a self-directed, responsible and proactive doer with a customer service mindset

  • You take the ownership and get things done in an efficient and professional way

  • You have good communication skills to communicate with our internal customers, team members and other stakeholders – together we aim higher!

  • You are comfortable with working in a matrix organization and managing multiple professional networks across an enterprise

  • You have gained experience in master data management (such as logistics service providers/vendors, locations, route master, standard costs, calendars and logistics rates and/or product master data including e.g. packaging related properties and dimensions)

  • You have a passion for the data quality discipline, as well as methodical approach and good attention to details and documentation

  • You have a basic understanding of master data life-cycle and the relationships in the enterprise level application landscape such as ERP, Logistics / Transportation Management Systems (e.g. OTM), Reporting, Analytics and downstream business applications

  • You can multitask and like to work in a changing environment

  • You have service delivery oriented mindset and willing to take responsibility for your tasks

  • You are flexible in adapting to different situations and able to work independently

Additional information

The position is located in UPM Business HUB in Wroclaw, Poland.

The position holder will report to Team Lead, Logistics & Product, Master Data Management.

We work according to Polish public holidays calendar and Polish working hours with possible flexibility.
