We are seeking a Performance Analyst to join the Performance Management Team to support HSBC account. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity to become a pivotal part of Performance Centre of Excellence.
In the role of Performance Analyst you will report directly to the Performance Manager, work closely with the dedicated account’s BI team and support the account’s Leadership Team with a range of operational performance topics including: driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement, maintaining the reporting suite, providing ad hoc analyses, performing invoicing, ensuring delivery against set SLAs and helping the account achieve its tactical and strategic objectives.

Operational Performance
- Directly or through BI, deliver timely, efficient and accurate reporting
- Assist the Client Services Team Leadership and Performance Manager in educating the account team on process adherence and proper usage of tools
- Monitor data integrity and flag any issues to Client Services Team
- Monitor and interpret automated early SLA warnings and help CST mitigate risks of missing SLA’s
- Support the preparation of financial forecasts by gathering and assessing inputs and associated materials
- Manage invoicing activity for the account including the calculation of NFI, ensuring all revenue is accrued and invoiced
- Support the performance manager to identify variance between planned and actual financial performance. Provide advanced analysis on trends to enable more accurate forecasting
- Analyse performance drivers to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for Continuous Improvement and waste reduction. Assist CST in implementation of changes
- Propose reporting metrics that can provide valuable insights to managing the account
Required
- Advanced analytical and logical reasoning skills
- Strong communication skills: Careful listener and able to convey complex topics clearly and concisely
- Resourceful and goal oriented. Able to deliver excellent results against rigid deadlines
- Strong team working skills: eager to collaborate, focused on the collective success, supportive and respectful of others
- Agile, resilient and positive in response to change or uncertainty
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- A passion for Performance and how this drives operational efficiency
- Experience in performance analysis or business intelligence
- Skilled at storytelling with data - presenting data-driven insights in a succinct and compelling manner
- Experience analysing data with the use of metrics, benchmarks, ratios and forecasting techniques
- Experience in financial reporting with demonstrable understanding of terminology
- Able to influence internal stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
- Experience with RPO operations
- Advanced knowledge of Excel. User knowledge of Power BI or similar visualisation tools
