Your responsibilities
Ensure software engineering practices in the team and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals. Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams
Set clear expectations with individuals based on their role, align to quality and customer satisfaction mindset
Create a good atmosphere for constructive feedback and openness
Be responsible for recruiting, hiring new team members and key talent retention
Employee performance evaluation
Competence development
Employees engagement and team motivation
Driving continuous improvement actions
Depending on the department, your responsibilities might include also project management related tasks such as:
Time management
Quality management
Resource and procurement management
Communication management
Risk management
Stakeholder management
Our requirements
Experience in managing a development team is a must have
Experience in complex projects environment
Understanding of software development life cycle
Familiarity with quality assurance tools and technics
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Strong result orientation
Proactiveness
Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
Optional
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Technology or equivalent education
Willingness to relocate to Wroclaw, living in or nearby
Experience in embedded systems is a strong plus
