The Role:
The Senior SAP Support Engineer, PP/QM, will perform global day to day support of the SAP S/4 HANA system in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone to who has always wanted to a have a great impact on supporting supply chain solutions in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
The Senior SAP Support Engineer, PP/QM, will perform global day to day support of the SAP S/4 HANA system in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone to who has always wanted to a have a great impact on supporting supply chain solutions in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- The primary role is to perform daily support of the SAP S/4 HANA system in the supply and distribution business units across a clinical and commercial pharmaceutical environment
- Troubleshoot and perform recommended fixes to support issues
- Monitor and support integrations and batch jobs with external systems, eg MES, LIMS, external partner integration
- Partner with the supply chain systems project delivery and architecture teams to confirm changes and fixes to system issues
- Monitor all supply chain issues in the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Provide off hours and weekend support on a rotational basis
- Supports SAP continuous improvement/enhancement projects or larger projects as the need arises
- Generate and update knowledge base articles and SOP’s based on resolutions
- Write/Update business design documents, functional specs, test scripts, SOPs
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- 5-8 years’ experience in the design, configuration and testing of solutions across the following SAP modules: PP-PI, QM
- Familiarity with the technical integration with supply chain systems using middleware applications eg, Manufacturing execution system, external manufacturers
- Excellent communication skills and experience managing SAP users with day to day issues and resolutions
- Experience with proposing user exits/BADI’S/BAPI’s to developers when writing functional specs
- Experience documenting processes and knowledge base articles
- Familiarity of SAP S/4 is a plus
- Experience in an FDA regulated environment such as Pharma/Medical device is preferred
- Experience with drug product serialization and serialization software is a plus
- Experience with warehouse management is a plus
