About the project

We develop software for onboard, hybrid, and online navigation applications – used by hundreds of millions of people around the world. Using a Navigation Data Standard (NDS) run-time format, our software includes navigation domain logic for traffic-dependent routing, route guidance, map visualization, search, positioning and machine learning-based predictions and suggestions. On our team, you’ll see your work transforming connected and embedded navigation around the world. We are an inclusive, autonomous agile team with a flat hierarchy and shared responsibility. Your responsibilities

  • Help the team continuously improve, plan, perform and deliver business value at a predictable pace

  • Grow team members and assist them in their development

  • Represent the team and inspire colleagues through role-model behavior

  • Raise the engineering bar with targeted high-impact contributions

  • Ensure our online systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.

  • Take part in an on-call rotation to support the services owned by the team: you developed it, you deploy it

  • Help the team cooperate with Product Managers to shape our competitive, world-class service

Our requirements

  • Strong, proven background in C++ Software Engineering

  • Experience deploying to the public cloud (esp. Azure, AWS)

  • Experience with Kubernetes & Docker

  • Customer focus, a strong sense of ownership, and a drive for results

  • Strong communication skills in Polish and English

  • Empathy and ability to deeply connect with others

  • Active listening skills

  • Can-do attitude

  • Agile and collaborative mindset

Optional

  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining highly available and scalable systems

  • Background in managing deployments, incident response, and infrastructure costs

  • Experience treating infrastructure as code

  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD systems
