Your responsibilities
- Monitoring of Revenue recognition, costs allocations, WIPS and accruals; analysis of margins and detection of problems and anomalies.
- Forecast and Actual Data Analysis. Prepares financial forecasts and plan/actual analyses for a business/project and supports the decision-making
- Business Support. Acting as a first point of contact for financial matters to external customers as well as organization’s sales and delivery departments
- Problem Solving. Analyzes business problems and recommends corresponding solutions
- Operational Risks and Added-Value Management. Planning and controlling of own added-value levels and operational risks
- Financial Compliance. Performing financial processes in according to organizational procedures and policies
- Decision Making Support. Providing relevant commercial information and analysis to the business responsible parties
- Maintenance of financial data in the information systems (SAP)
- Processing purchase orders, creating sales invoices and credit memos
- Monitoring Expenses. Maintaining and developing controlling tools to monitor expenses
Our requirements
- Advanced command of English and German language is a prerequisite
- Excellent business German or English is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance area, including at least 1 year of experience in Controlling area
- Finance / Accounting university degree preferred, professional certification in finance area is an advantage
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel
- Experience in working with SAP
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Sound sense of pro-activity and taking initiative
- Capability to handle end-to-end responsibilities
- Solution oriented thinking and working
- High awareness of cost, budget and risk considerations
- Ability to work independently
