For our new established center Miele Global Services we are looking for Candidates for the position of:
SSC Finance Operations Manager (Head of Finance)

You will be responsible for:

  • overall responsibility for managing Finance & Accounting departments: AP, AR, Cash Collection & Credit Management, GL and being responsible to manage up to 170 FTE’s with ca. 10 direct reports;
  • leading and providing guidance to Team Leads in leading their teams ;
  • constant involvement and responsibility for optimization and improvement of provided service;
  • ensuring achievement of performance targets and develop & execute the team strategy as jointly defined with the respective stakeholders;
  • developing Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements within SSC and support them to increase the performance;
  • support business development activities and SSC growth
    ensuring control and compliance requirements of processes;
  • ensuring the team is properly cross-trained and the operating model creates flexible modes of responding to surges in demand, projects and strategic initiatives;
  • drives high employee engagement and empowerment;
  • represent a positive example for all employees within the service organization and foster problem/ conflict resolution, coaching and training for employee development.

What we expect:

  • strong experience in leading SSCs and/or relevant work experience in a service center (> 8-15 years);
  • knowledge of general accounting concepts, practices and procedures;
  • proved track record of realization of efficiency targets and improvements initiatives;
  • Master / MBA (e.g., Finance Management/ Accounting or of a comparable study program) or equivalent / higher education;
  • ability to share a clear vision and inspire others;
  • leadership experience for > 70 employees;
  • strategic mindset with proven, international stakeholder management expertise and good networking skills;
  • strong track record of leading and coaching large teams;
  • excellent people management skills and expertise knowledge;
  • good communication and presentation skills in English;
  • customer and quality centric mindset;
  • drive to develop employees to their maximum potential;
