Your responsibilities
Analysis of the national and international procurement market with the focus on development of efficient supply chains with optimal cost structures
Developing and implementing of sourcing strategies in collaboration with international Procurement & Supply Chain Teams, Production departments and the Group
Planning and execution of programs for continuous cost reductions in close cooperation with Procurement & Supply Chain and Production
Coordination of strategic procurement purchasing at the Koszalin location, including close cooperation with operative purchasing
Support by sourcing activities in the Polish Market
Conduct negotiation and conclusion of framework contracts in coordination with the Group and the Business Unit
Supplier evaluation and supplier management
Reporting based on selected KPI´s to Procurement & Supply chain Manager of the Business Unit and internal stakeholders
Our requirements
Completed degree in business engineering or business administration or equivalent
Several years of professional experience in Strategic Purchasing at an OEM, ideally from mechanical engineering
Independent, structured and results-oriented way of working, combined with the ability to combine technical requirements with economic goals
Analytical ability to think, ability to work in a team, ability to communicate and assertiveness paired with pronounced negotiating skills
Comfortable in collaborating with cross functional and multicultural teams in an agile environment
Confident in using the MS Office programs (especially Excel), SAP knowledge would be helpful
Fluent language skills in English and Polish, German knowledge would be helpful
Willingness to carry out national and international business travel (occasionally)
