Your responsibilities
Development and implementation of the global procurement strategy in close cooperation with the various stakeholders at our European locations. It is an independent role, no team to lead
Responsibilities focused on procurement of logistics services (transport and packaging for inbound and outbound) for the various locations and others
Participation in and acceptance of purchasing projects
Evaluation and development of existing suppliers as well as selection and qualification of new suppliers
Responsibility for optimizing the current standards, creating synergies and standardization in order to create the best purchasing conditions for the ASH Group
Price and contract negotiations with suppliers
Continuous observation and analysis of global trends in the procurement market, identification of relevant strategic developments.
Participation in the further development of our digital shopping world
Drive the reduction of the carbon footprint in the packaging category with rotary packaging and play a key role in the sustainability agenda
Ensuring robust market risk management in shipping (parcel service providers, road, sea and air)
Regular benchmarking with carriers in Europe and overseas
The role requires international external interactions with suppliers and knowledge of the logistics market and network
Our requirements
Basic business training / degree or comparable training
Several years of relevant professional experience as a strategic buyer / lead buyer for indirect goods
Knowledge of national and international contract law and negotiation methods
Good knowledge of SAP (MM, Ariba)
You are an entrepreneur with strong negotiation skills and intercultural experience
You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
You have a high quality awareness and an affinity for technology and production
