    Your role:

    Your main mission is the oversight of all accounting activities for the legal entities in your scope. As EMEA Supervisor, Corporate Finance you will:

    • Supervise and own the financial close process for the entities in scope
    • Maintain and review US GAAP and local ledgers including the preparation and review of related journal entries and reconciliations
    • Supervise and support a team of 3 financial analysts
    • Prepare and review financial and accounting analysis involving complex transactions including but not limited to general accounting, fixed assets, intercompany and financial reporting activities/transactions
    • Ensure accounting treatment in line with Group policies for entities in scope
    • Report to EMEA Manager, Corporate Finance in Krakow and to Country Controllers as necessary
    • Produce and review statistical and statutory reports as required
    • Provide GBS/BPO with a guidance for resolution of accounting issues
    • Support the Statutory/Fiscal Reports process with 3rd parties
    • Prepare miscellaneous tax filings and maintain record of all Regulatory Filings
    • Drive and co-ordinate the financial close process for the affiliate or cluster of affiliates
    • Work closely with personnel in all departments to ensure compliance with company accounting and operational guidelines in accordance with local GAAP
    • Assist in audit preparation and all other projects assigned
    • Propose and implement initiatives aimed to improve efficiency and quality of the process

    Key requirements:

    • At least 3 years of professional experience in finance and accounting - especially General Ledger/ Reporting or Financial Analysis (Big 4 experience would be an asset)
    • Master’s Degree in either of the following areas: Finance/Accounting/Economics (ACCA, CIMA, CPA is a strong plus)
    • Advanced English skills is a requirement
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills required to manage effective communication with all levels of management
    • Ability to work independently and set priorities
    • Knowledge of SAP/Oracle or other ERP system would be an asset
