Supplier Development Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Monitoring of operational activities and performance both plant and group level for dedicated category

• Initiating improvement and corrective actions for measured KPI and in case of deviations form set targets correcting them using problem solving, initiating and leading long term improvement activities for measured KPI using quality tools

• Searching for Cost Optimizing solution, proposing, getting approved by local operations and leading implementation

• Support for Category Manager for cost optimization, technical and technological knowledge

• Building relationships with suppliers (Supplier Development) and key stakeholders: plants and operations

• Supporting for preparation of long term Category Strategy (Procurement Plan)

• Carrying out Initial Supplier Audit and periodical assessments Supplier Audit

• Global sourcing and new supplier searching and implementation

• Ongoing cooperation with other DOVISTA departments especially: R&D, Product Management, Finance, Logistic and Production

• Securing Contract Compliance and Ethical and Responsible business performance

Our requirements

Supplier Development Engineer monitors and reports key indicators relevant for supplier performance and collaboration and based on them initiates actions directed to improve. SDE take part in selecting key suppliers (searching for the ideas and solution to improve on Cost, Quality and Material Availability for all DOVISTA unites and entities), coordinates supplier qualification process and plant level as well supervise supplier process to secure compliance of supplied components with requirements and specification.
