Recruitment for

For our Client, an international leader in manufacturing of furniture we are looking for Candidates (F/M) interested in the role of: Supplier Development Manager Europe / Kierownik ds. Rozwoju Dostawców w Europie.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing OEM and Direct Supplier Base across Europe with the scope to identify the best option in terms of QCD with supporting the overall commodity buyer strategy.

  • Supporting Head of Purchasing in the overall purchasing strategy and process implementation towards the international organization.

  • Coordinating activities between PLM (Product Line Management, Engineering & Commodity Buyer) with tracking tools and related Sharepoint structure, while developing the own strategy related to OEM partners.

  • Leading strategic QCD workshops and helping to prepare the related documentation per commodity/OEM workshop.

  • Analyzing and restructuring the complete OEM setup, screening the market, identifying the status quo & working close to the commodity buyers and their overall strategy (team alignment activities related to "OEM partners").

  • Developing the future OEM and insourcing strategy.

  • Monitoring and anticipating key market trends, analyzing spend, optimizing supply base and supporting the benchmarking, negotiating, contracting, managing product lifecycle, building business cases activities.

  • Supporting supplier evaluation performance tracking, managing contract base on the Sharepoint and supporting on international level.

  • Supporting supplier audit preparation at OEM side.

  • Supporting ERP clean up.

  • Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures and supporting actively company initiatives for continuous process improvements.

Employer requirements

  • Solid experience in Procurement / Project Management.

  • Experience in working with OEM partners or in the OEM environment.

  • Supply Chain knowledge (QCD).

  • Supplier handling experience (experience with Eastern Europe suppliers are an advantage).

  • Proficient supplier relationship management skills.

  • Fluent in English (other European languages are a plus).

  • Business negotiation skills.

  • Reporting and budget development skills.

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

  • Planning, organizing and communication skills.

  • Project tracking mindset.
