your tasks

• working globally to develop and maintain inspection plans for inspecting incoming raw materials (both electrical and mechanical)
• managing quality issues related to incoming raw materials through the materials process
• reviewing inspection metrics data to support process improvements, automation, and staffing requirements
• primary mentor for new quality inspection associates as well as provides daily team support for the routine inspection process
• identifying and sources inspection tools and lab equipment
• facilitating lab layout designs that drive an optimal arrangement of equipment and workstations to improve the performance of the inspection process
• providing reliable solutions to a wide range of difficult problems using sound problem-solving techniques
• demonstrating good communication skills in collaboration with associates and external customers
