Supplier Quality Management Specialist (Food)

Our client is an international manufacturer of industrial, financial and food services and products, a company with over 100 years of experience, operating in dozens of countries around the world. Due to continuous development, we are looking for a Candidate for the position of Supplier Quality Management Specialist.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that all ingredients suppliers are approved and have in place systems that comply with standards.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments on ingredient suppliers.
• Ensuring due diligence records and regularly reviewing that materials comply to customer food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Updating the technical library with information and documentation on suppliers and materials.
• Monitor supplier and material performance against requirements, follow up with suppliers to collect data, work collaboratively to implement corrective actions in the event of adverse performance.
• Work with our local and regional manufacturing facilities to establish criteria for incoming raw materials and drive to improve the quality and safety of all ingredients and packaging.
• Assist in writing and maintaining Supplier Quality Manuals and keep up to date with new legal, labelling and food safety changes.

We are looking for:

• Min 2 years experience in a similar position in food industry (quality assurance/regulatory/supplier quality/product safety) 
• Fluent English (C1) - business level,
• Bachelor degree in a related field
• ISO Lead Auditor qualified would be useful or equivalent recognized auditor qualification,
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP,
• Ability to work independently, have a keen eye for detail, be able to present information clearly,
• Commitment to work and positive attitude.
