Your responsibilities
For the business implementation around new Enterprise platforms and bringing Mergers and Acquisitions into the existing Supply Chain ecosystems.
Business Analysts plan, perform and implement process improvement initiatives leveraging LEAN, Six Sigma, and/or certified Business Analysis principles.
Helps leadership get the best out of our technology and systems to drive business goals
This role is expected to be experience and have expertise in ORACLE ERP to help non-technical business people turn their business needs into concrete system deliverables.
Must have business or technical expertise in one or more core Supply Chain functions: Material and Inventory Planning, Product Management and Master Data, Manufacturing and Distribution Fulfillment, or Order Management. (Preference for experiences in Product & Master data and/or Order Management.)
Must have a strong understanding of how enterprise systems (especially ORACLE ERP) are leveraged to meet those Supply Chain goals is essential. You’ll work closely with IT but need to be the expert in how the business users are interacting with those systems.
LEAN, Six Sigma, CBAP or similar certification are expected, although candidates strong on other factors could pursue such credentials in their first year on the job.
You will be the process-expert counterpart to IT’s systems expertise, providing consultation on re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
This role will focus on business processes and M&A around multiple ERPs and related Enterprise Systems including E2OPEN, ORACLE, CPQ DEMANTRA and SAP.
Drives the success of Projects:
Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams: sometimes in-tandem with a Project Manager, but also fulfilling those duties in smaller projects and process improvement activities.
Shepherds ideas, requests and opportunities through the early stages of discussion into key decision documentation like project charters, business value statements, stakeholder lists, and SWAG estimates that will help leadership decide whether to launch the project.
Prepares or analyzes cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on what to pursue and not pursue in system implementations.
Communicates with leadership and peers, including team progress, business value, presentations and training courses.
You will need excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills and be able to take initiative, drive actions and exercise excellent judgment.
You will be most involved in the discovery, requirements, design, test planning and rollout phases of Supply Chain Enterprise Tool rollouts.
Identifies, Evaluates, and Analyzes improvement opportunities:
Diagrams and evaluates current business processes to provide recommendations for process improvements or changes.
Collects data to identify root-cause of problems.
Bridges the gap between the various business and the IT teams. Ensures common understanding and alignment to program objectives, decisions and risks.
Gathers business requirements through interviewing subject-matter experts and documenting business requirements for solutions analysis, development and user-onboarding.
Ensures Accountability:
Insures that other key teams are properly engaged and their objectives accounted for: reporting, repair, finance, etc.
In tandem with our analytics team, develops metrics and KPIs that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Performs cost and benefit analyses and identifies measures to judge performance against process requirements.
Our requirements
Bachelor's Degree in rea related field
5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar
Expertise in core Supply Chain functions: Material and Inventory Planning, Product Management and Master Data, Manufacturing and Distribution Fulfillment, or Order Management. (Preference for experiences in Product & Master data and/or Order Management.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (reading, writing, listening, oral, presentation) Exceptional interpersonal skills; Able to build strong and successful long-term working relationships, Strong ability to achieve objectives by working with others in an organizational context.
Candidates should be willing to work on weekends and/or holidays on occasion to support operations-related activities as needed, especially for testing and rollout phases of large projects. MSI is a global company so we both give and expect some flexibility on scheduling to work with colleagues in other time zones.
Experience in ORACLE ERP BOM, Item, Order Management, and/or Pricing
A CBAP, LEAN/Six Sigma, or similar certification

Any or all of the following capabilities are a strong plus for this position:
Experience with ORACLE PLM/PIM
Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions into Enterprise systems
Experience with E2OPEN
Experience in SAP ERP
Strong knowledge of spreadsheets (meaning you know advanced formulas and/or can write a simple macro) and/or SQL experience
