Trading Partner Finance (TPF) is a high performing Global team, enabling the supply chain to get products to patients and consumers on-time through strong partnership with the business and strategic BPOs.


The activities of the Trading Partner entities principally cover the procurement, supply, import and export of bulk drug substance and finished materials product for intercompany and 3rd party cross border transactions in GSK. 95% of GSK’s trade passes through our teams and we are responsible for operating in compliance with global trade, legal & fiscal requirements.

At the heart of the global supply chain within GSK we work closely with a wide number of departments supporting the delivery of medicine to our patients at the right place, on time and meeting a high quality standard.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure there is no or minimal delays to the Supply Chain as a result of Trading Partner Finance (TPF) invoice or data activities.
  • Ensure that any corrections required are completed timely and in alignment with Quality, compliance and finance requirements
  • Leading and driving performance of the Invoice & Data Service delivery team
  • Implementing change to business and data processes, ensuring quality financial and logistical data to support the Trading Partner invoicing and accounting processes
  • Driving standards and continuous improvements in service delivery
  • Customer Relationship Management for escalations relating to Invoice and Data Service
  • Work with Service Delivery Lead to set KPI’s and ensure correct lead metrics in place to support delivery of KPI’s
  • Liaise with GPO on process changes and to define process exceptions
  • Engage with customer or supplier contacts on process performance challenges
  • Managing team
  • All processes are documented & maintained across the team.
  • Full GxP testing is carried out to ensure effective controls are in place and that all processes and systems are and remain fully compliant
  • Level 1 Sox control management oversight to be performed monthly
  • Proactively manage closure of open issues and escalations ensuring preventative measures are in place to prevent reoccurrence
  • Monitor workload volumes, and exceptions to ensure level of resource to manage is adequate including additional resources to support projects, embed new processes and incremental activities

Why you:

Basic qualifications:

  • Knowledge of supply chain processes to include Trade Routes, Invoicing, Credit Notes and Transfer Pricing is a distinct advantage
  • Familiar with Export & logistics practices
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Solid experience of managing and maintaining integrity of large volumes of data.
  • Demonstrated ability in successfully resolving customer issues regardless of organisational boundaries, to a mutually acceptable solution
  • Proven ability to manage projects, interpret complex information and provide informed analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to work in culturally diverse teams and reconcile cultural differences to successfully deliver services
  • Proven people management skills including the ability to deliver through others with the capacity to foster enthusiasm and team work
