As Procurement Specialist you will be part of the requisition to pay (RTP) team that manages the volumes of purchase order activities required to support Asset in Trinidad & Tobago purchasing requirements.
Ensure that (automated) RtP process run well end to end by using monitoring tools and resolving any process blockers
Ensure that vendors used are approved
Act as RTP Focal Point for business stakeholders on escalations: Address RtP issues with Requisitioner, Procurement Staff, Vendors, Tax and Finance.
Process material and service requests; Create, organize, and issue purchase orders for approval
Troubleshoot issues with Purchase Orders, vendor outline agreements, payment terms, and invoices.
Challenge demand, specification, and cost to deliver savings on a continual basis
Actively support digital initiatives (PowerBI, SAP automation, excel automation)
Strong communication skills & capability of supporting stakeholders under challenging conditions in a multi-cultural environment, both on site as well as in virtual relationships.
Strong analytical skills and goal driven pragmatic issue resolution
Robust familiarity with SAP and supporting systems like Ms Excel
Experience with RtP process
Open mind and creative thinking
Digital literacy would be an asset
Very good English (B2)
