Your responsibilities

  • Reviewing and analysing complex syndicated senior secured loan agreements related documentation

  • Use your expertise in syndicated loan documentation to support our review of these documents, and act as an advisor to the team and client (this includes serving as an escalation point on substantive issues for the team)

  • Identifying new opportunities to improve the client’s loan document review processes & procedures and to further develop our long-term relationships

  • Providing quality assurance reviews of the work of other team members in line with agreed client standards and advising on questions relating to due diligence and data extraction.

  • Writing, contributing to or reviewing due diligence review guides (‘playbooks’) for each type of document

  • Training and working with less experienced colleagues on a day-to-day basis

  • Working with the Project Manager to provide subject matter expertise for a positive project conclusion

Our requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience analysing, drafting, and negotiating syndicated senior secured loan documents either within a law firm, financial institution, as part of an in-house legal team, or with an alternative legal services provider or similar

  • Previous experience in commercial finance, secured lending, reviewing contracts and loan documents, preparing loan-related documents, and performing due diligence

  • Experience drafting and reviewing various commercial loan documentation including intercreditor agreements, guarantee and collateral agreements, and subordination agreements

  • Superb interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail and communication and client relations skills are essential

  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

  • Law Degree required

The Role:

We’re expanding our lending practice and we’re hiring an experienced Syndicated Loans Lawyer to join us in Wrocław. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for supporting a team of analysts tasked with performing due diligence on syndicated loan documents for our clients.
