About the project
We are looking for candidates with seniority in related technology domain experience and skills that want to continue career development in the dynamic team environment.
As System Administrator you will be part of growing and highly invested DXC Bionix team. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining business applications and server infrastructure. Work with internal and customer teams to design, develop and support software solutions for business process services (BPS). The Administrator competence profile plays an important role in DXC digital transformation engagement with customers.
Your responsibilities
- Install and configure business applications
- Setup accounts, workstations and other infrastructure resources
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security and contingency through access controls and backups
- Upgrade systems with new releases and updates
- Change Requests support
Our requirements
- Proven 2 years experience as a System Administrator or similar role
- Must have experience with administrative and technical procedures for implementing changes, modifications, upgrades, additions, and deletions to systems components related to hardware, operating systems, applications, and software
- Knows how to monitor system activities and performance to determine the operational condition of systems, including utilization, capacity, transactions, load, traffic, errors, events, and alerts
- Demonstrated experience how to analyze, troubleshoots, and diagnoses systems related problems to determine priority, response, resolution or escalation required related to impact on business operations
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- Good English skills
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently
- Experience with RPA software will be an asset
- Program development experience using C# or VB.NET will be an asset
