System Engineer (Client)

Your tasks

  • Maintain client hardware standards including client configuration and test new technologies
  • Administer enterprise software including deployment and package management
  • Manage and administer the client environment (Windows 10)
  • Development and management of EMS(Intune) and AutoPilot
  • Identify internal process and automation improvements and deploy scalable technical solutions
  • Manage our custom Client Management apps Ninja and Samurai
  • Integrate with other systems and tools
  • Manage transition plans for major upgrades or patches
  • Administer client system management tools and functions (MS SCCM, Sophos Antivirus, Bitlocker Encryption, PowerBroker, etc.)
  • Diagnose and investigate unique and complex systemic problems

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience on similar position
  • Familiarity with SCCM 2012 R2, Windows Client OS (Windows 10), EMS (Intune), OS installation automation, Active Directory & Group Policy, Software Packaging (WISE), Windows PowerShell, Microsoft Intune
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work complex prioritized tasks through to completion
  • Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and procedures as they become available
  • Team player with strong communication abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work successfully in an intensely collaborative environment with a broad range of people from culturally diverse backgrounds including colleagues, administrators, students, faculty, donors, and alumni
  • Fluent English written and spoken is a must
