About the project
Joining us you will become a part of Gdańsk Smart Steel Hub, launched recently as a result of a mutual agreement between thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk and tk Steel Europe, where our newly hired IT experts will have the possibility to influence the development of digital processes supporting steel production by its biggest producer in Europe.
Your responsibilities
Operate the development, test, and production system landscapes for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Further development of the existing system landscapes and processes required for professional operation
Installation of new MES releases on the test and production environments
Ensuring 24/7 operation of the production environments
Collaboration in MES related projects
Managing of the used provider to coordinate and execute changes
Our requirements
Advanced knowledge in server and network technologies in general
Basic knowledge in Linux administration (Redhat)
IT service management based on ITIL
Database administration (Oracle database)
Enterprise application integration EAI (MQSeries)
App-Server administration (Oracle Weblogic)
Analytical and abstract thinking
Good understanding of complex interrelationships
Experience in the design of system architectures
High willingness to provide service and performance
Excellent command of English, German is a plus
