This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment in Kraków, Poland.

Advanced Safety & User Experience encompasses our deep expertise in centralized computing platforms, advanced safety systems and automated driving, while acknowledging the growth in areas that enrich the in-vehicle experience.

You will:

  • Analyze internal & external customer requirements to come up system approach to achieve project goals. Apply lessons learned from previous projects as well as best practices from outside the automotive industry.

  • Define component and communication architectures meeting stakeholder and system requirements

  • Manage data collection efforts supporting algorithm development and testing

  • Develop and execute functional test and KPI performance evaluation plans

  • Plan and coordinate development with machine learning and systems engineering teams at other global sites

  • Support presentations and demonstrations to customers and other stakeholders

  • Be passionate about creating and understanding new technologies and inspire others to do the same


Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, computer science, physics, or related field of study)

  • 5+ years of experience with requirements analysis and systems architecture

  • 3+ years of experience with software development

  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development team  

  • 2+ years of experience working with distributed systems communicating over TCP/IP or UDP

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Master’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, computer science, physics, or related field of study)

  • A user-centric mindset to technology development

  • Familiarity with system/software development processes (CI/CD, Automotive SPICE) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, etc.)

  • Familiarity with system modeling in SysML using tools such as Enterprise Architect

  • Experience with machine learning, computer vision, image processing, and cameras

  • Familiarity with micro service architectures and cloud-based computing

  • Experience with vehicle protocols - CAN, LIN, Flex Ray, Ethernet
