Responsible for Indirect Tax scope during transformation projects (business deployments, tax automation)
Be a “to-go” person for Indirect Tax related matters
Support Indirect Tax Experts in improving Indirect Tax process or solving issues
Validate the local tax requirements to determine new scope topics and assure scope sign off with the Market
Drive and support the build phase, training, user acceptance testing and go live phase within a ERP deployment
Drive continuous improvement and ensure that the processes remain compliant with the local fiscal regulations
Ensuring that the Indirect tax outcome of any newly deployed SCM and Procurement flows are compliant
To drive smaller and midsize tax improvement initiatives, related to VAT determination, VAT and Intrastat reporting
Help drive the deployment of Vertex, our VAT determination engine
Monitor and report on finance progress and participate in the project status meetings
Align on KPI’s with local team (current performance and targets)
University degree in Finance or equivalent is required
At least 5 years of progressive work experience in area of Indirect tax.
SAP knowledge (FI, CO module)
Project Management skills with positive result driven attitude
Ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload, multi-task is essential
Effective in influencing and collaborating (courageous discussions) with colleagues from various disciplines and cultures
Highly developed analytical capabilities, with a strong business and customer sense
Effective listening and communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills
Proactive and hands on attitude, goal oriented and perseverant
Able to drive change in processes to bring organizations in line with harmonized wow and or legal requirements
Structured working style with eye for detail and hidden risks
Team oriented and process driven
Fluent communication skills in English (both oral and written) is required

In this role
ou will be at the center of the Indirect Tax Transformation, which is a sub stream in the larger Philips Transformation. The role will drive the Transformation, ensure that the end2end tax processes are efficient, drive adoption to and continuous improvement of the processes.
You are a part of
Philips Accounting Operations (AccOps) Indirect Tax organization. Depending on the complexity of the project you will work with a cross-functional team (SCM, Procurement) or with Finance Operations.
You will report functionally to the Indirect Tax BPO and a dotted line into the End2End Project Manager
