Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all day-to-day corporate tax compliance and reporting activities for the TIP Group including managing 3rd party compliance providers, withholding tax support and tax payments

  • You are the expert on corporate income tax reporting templates for all entities of the TIP Group and maintain these to ensure legislative changes are timely included aiming at accurate tax reporting

  • You ensure that the tax books are closed on time with high quality in cooperation with the Tax Accounting Manager

  • You integrate business events and transactions into all tax compliance and reporting obligations and provide IFRS and local GAAP tax data

  • You update the Tax and Corporate Accounting teams on tax compliance status and provide relevant insight to Finance functions in the regions and FP&A in HQ when requested

  • You are responsible for the current tax and deferred calculations of the statutory accounts and provide current tax related input for the consolidated accounts

  • You ensure the timely preparation and filing of all tax compliance obligations under local tax legislation of all entities in the TIP Group

  • You ensure that all tax payments are accurately and timely executed for all TIP entities

  • You are managing all external audits by the group auditor and tax authorities in relation to tax matters

  • You manage the preparation of all transfer pricing documentation for the TIP Group and ensure that all transfer pricing obligations in each country are met as part of the reporting cycle including CbCr

Our requirements

  • At least 4-7 years of post-qualification tax and accounting experience in a multinational in-house environment or audit firm

  • You have a chartered accountant qualification (such as CPA, CA, RA) or relevant tax qualification with proven experience in the field of the responsibilities

  • You bring positive energy to the team

  • You have a can-do attitude and foster change

  • You take initiative and leave no issues open or outstanding

  • You are an expert in tax compliance processes and master the management of accounting to tax differences

  • You are fluent in English – additional languages are preferred

  • You are IT savvy with advanced excel skills preferable expanded with Power Query/Power BI experience

Job purpose

TIP has almost doubled the size of the business over the past few years. We are progressing well integrating our newly acquired businesses. This results in significant pressure on the finance organization, controls and aligning of policies and procedures to ensure integrity and timely financial reporting across all our entities and geographies in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS. At the same time, we have started up a Finance Transformation initiative with a focus on process standardization and automation, replacing mundane activities by more value-added activities. This Vision for Finance will accommodate the current and possibly future expansion of TIP and will allow timely decision making in the business. We are now seeking a Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager to manage all Tax Compliance related matters of the TIP Group with support of 3rd party tax compliance provider. Thereby, it requires managing the process that all tax reporting obligations are accurately reflected in the statutory and consolidated accounts.
