Your responsibilities
Assisting with strategic decisions, designing new reports/checks in the Tax Data Analytics tool and contributing to developing and improving a global software solution for identifying anomalies with impact on VAT/GST/SST area
Working in Agile structure: daily stand-ups, review sessions, planning session, backlog refinement, performing UAT on the implemented new or upgraded software and working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
Onboarding new countries: analyzing tax data and providing outcome to the countries, adjusting the dictionary logic, managing the first level approval of dictionaries, training and supporting end users on the application functionalities
Being an interface between countries’ best practice sharing on Tax Data Analytics, ERP VAT functionality setup and other VAT related topics
Creating KPI’s dashboards, sharing KPI’s with countries, advising on all indirect tax related aspects of business activity of the Group
Being up to date with tax legislation and adapting business processes to a changing tax environment
Defining new data collection and analysis processes
Analyzing reports and identifying areas where improvements can be made and managing bugs for troubleshooting the reporting environment
Our requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance and 3 years in indirect taxes
Solid SAP knowledge
Proficiency in working with MS Office
Proficiency in Power BI is an asset
Solid understanding of indirect taxes in an international context in multinational environments
Solid understanding of standards such as GAAP, IFRS, SOX
Minimum 2 years of experience in project environment and Agile way of working
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work in team, creativity and problem solving skills
