Position Purpose & Summary

The primary function of the Contract Desk Lead is to drive the Central Conract Desk within CSST (Cargill Starches, Sweeteners and Texturizers business unit) Europe to ensure execution and continuous improvement of contract administration processes in consideration of the latest sales and purchase contract policy. 
Principal Accountabilities


  • Lead the Contract Administrators to a high performing and agile team
  • Develop performance plans and monitor execution and results 
  • Quarterly and yearly employee performance reviews
  • People development on the job to increase contracting efficiency
  • Create ONE Team environment
  • Setup training and onboarding plans for new employees
  • Manage employee worktime in line with the local labor code


  • Improve sales and purchase contract administration processes by standarizing them
  • Ensure that documents (e.g. Daily Sales List) are provided accurately
  • Ensure compliance with valid sales and purchase contract policy
  • Manage contract amendment process 
  • Drive the monthly contract closure process 
  • Develop clear instructions in case of missing policy (e.g. purchase contract management)
  • Ensure appropriate and punctual sales contract / template maintenance 
  • Exterminate deviations between Leap and ERP systems 
  • Manage emergency situations
  • Take an active role in projects aimed to streamline processes related to contract management


  • Improve sales and purchase contract administration processes by documenting them
  • Ongoing maintenance of contract management procedures and manuals 
  • Print and send legal contracts in coordination with Sales Manager or Sales Assistant


  • Minimum of two years experience in similar job
  • Leadership experience, people management skills
  • Good understanding of generic sales processes, commercial/customer oriented
  • High communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Cargill products, procedures, contracts and / or customers
  • System mastery. Preferred:  Aforce / SAP / BO Webi / LEAP
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Word mastery
  • Very good level of English and Polish
