Your responsibilities

An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role as a key member of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) COO Risk FRCO & Risk Policies team, you will become part of the team that supports the entire CRO Corporate Function to manage operational risks. You will, together with the team, be the entry point for any topic related to the operational risk framework promoting a strong culture of control, conduct and behaviour across CRO. You will, together with the team, support to orchestrate the annual Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), ensure that operational risk issues / events are escalated and documented in a timely manner, and investigations/remediation projects of incidents are managed appropriately, drive internal audit read-across and run the related governance forums. You will collaborate closely with the FRCOs that represent the other part of the Chief Risk Officer organization and with the other Divisional/Corporate Function FRCO teams across the bank. Our requirements

  • You describe yourself as a confident self-starter with outstanding organization, communication and interpersonal skill-set. Driving topics and activities in collaboration with multiple stakeholders including senior management to a successful conclusion is what you enjoy and what motivates you.

  • University degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven relevant experience in the financial or risk & compliance industry with a strong understanding of risk, control and regulatory programs (e.g. in Operational Risk & Controls, Non-Financial Risk Management, Audit). Prior employment with a large financial institution strongly preferred

  • Sound understanding of the risk/control best-practices and industry/regulatory standards

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with problem solving capability

  • High attention to detail, proven ability to manage work within tight deadlines and excel under pressure

  • Integrative, stress resistant team-player with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, confident to work with and influence different levels of seniority

  • High proficiency in Power Point and Excel

  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of German language will be an asset.
