About the project

The purpose of the DQAM function is to manage, produce and own high quality, accurate reports and analysis, and sanction their release to consumers. Team is responsible for:

• Market Risk information management & reporting

• Credit Risk information management & reporting

• Operational Risk information management and reporting

• Managing development and implementation of risk and finance systems

• Regulatory change and coordination, establishing policies covering market risk, credit risk, operational risk and finance

Your responsibilities

  • Understanding of dynamics of market data inputs, trade attributes and market risk sensitivities required for analyzing VAR/ERC/IRC movements.

  • Ensure completeness of the underlying sensitivity data; perform exception clearing and necessary data adjustments with required due diligence.

  • Review and validate material day- on-day changes in underlying risk sensitivities & calculated risk measures (VAR/ERC/IRC), by attributing the variance to risk input data changes, market data moves in time series and risk computation methodology changes.

  • Prepare and publish Market Risk reports to risk managers with required level of analysis.

  • Address & resolve Risk Managers queries around data quality issues & enhanced due diligence for risk validation process in timely manner.

  • Manage a team of 4-5 individuals & is responsible for reviewing their day to day process, work allocation, performance evaluation, escalations etc.

  • Partner with IT, Data Management, QAT , Change and Risk Reporting teams in assessing business requirements to improve front to back infrastructure in support of market risk measure production.

  • Identify and track data quality issues, drive remediation and provide regular updates to senior management.

Our requirements

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English.

  • 6-8 years of proven related experience (finance or risk industry highly desirable).

  • Passionate about finance and risk area, with deep understanding of market risk measures.

  • Advanced Excel user, who is familiar with pivots and vlookup.

  • Knowledge of financial products, demonstrate willingness and ability to learn more.

  • Dedicated problem-solver with a positive personality and proven analytical skills. Proven ability to manage work well under pressure.


  • VBA, SQL, Qlik knowledge would be desirable.

  • Deep knowledge of market risk concepts, internal models and standard rules.

  • Completed or currently taking the CFA or FRM qualifications would be desirable.

Data Quality Assurance and Monitoring (DQAM) is part of CRCO Data management. This opening is in DQAM - Market Risk team and comprises approximately 80+ staff globally with presence in Wroclaw, Mumbai, New York, Raleigh, London and Singapore. The team has overall responsibility for managing and controlling the end-to-end process of collating market risk data for measurement, analysis and subsequent reporting to senior management, regulators and traders as well as other downstream users.
