    Department Description

    Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for analysis of financial reports, trends, risks and opportunities. We gather, interpret and evaluate financial information, including past financial data and short- to long-term financial forecasts. FP&A department supports wide range of Motorola Solutions businesses and operations functions across Europe, Africa and North America region. We have several small subteams in FP&A that's why our team is unique - almost each position in our team has a different scope. You will have opportunity to understand how our company operates and improve your analytical skills.

    Team Leader - Financial Planning & Analysis

    Job Description

    Team lead position has overall responsibility for quality and efficiency of the service delivery of a team within FP&A department. The position will focus also on executing standard processes, based on maintaining internal service levels:

    Specifically Team Lead is responsible for:

    • Preparation and review of financial analysis, written reports and presentations for internal stakeholders;
    • Analysis of business unit performance and communication of this to key stakeholders;
    • Timely delivery of ad hoc analysis to meet stakeholder requests
    • Presenting the monthly and quarterly corporate entity results to Finance Management
    • Leading, motivating and supporting the Analysts
    • Coaching and mentoring the team
    • Motivating the team to achieve individual and team objectives
    • Managing day-to-day operations

    Basic Requirements

    • Finance Master's degree or Finance professional studies
    • The candidate will need good technical accounting knowledge, experience with accounting systems and be capable of working autonomously. The ability to analyse process flows, identify areas to improve efficiency and maintain an appropriate control framework is expected
    • People management experience 
    • Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas 
    • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change 
    • Strong communication skills
    • Knowledge of Oracle, Essbase is an advantage
    • Fluent English
