For our client a Shared Service Center in Cracow, we are looking for candidates for the position of GL Team Leader with German language.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervision of General Ledger process
- Leading a team of GL process specialists
- Ensuring that daily operations are carried out according to set targets and in respect with SLA's
- Developing strong relationships with stakeholders
- Provide support for a team when it's needed
- Driving and proposing process improvements in the process
- Manage human resource planning, performance review of team members
- Encourage cooperation, teamwork and knowledge sharing
- Cooperation with local Manager and other accounting departments in Germany
- Supporting internal and external audit requirements in respect of SSC GL process.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting, deep knowledge of GL process
- At least 2 years in people management,
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or related
- Fluent in German and Good English skills
- Very good knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methods
- Self-organized and disciplined, mature and pro-active person with a high level of integrity
