What’s in it for you:

The purpose of the this position is to lead 2 teams of Analysts that produce mobility data (11 employees). Tax & Economic Research Team is responsible for official sources of Personal Income and Tax and Social Security information at the national level. This analysis is used as a basis to create Mercer’s Personal Income Tax Reports. The tax reports serves as a crucial source of tax information for clients who purchase our mobility data and utilize the tax calculators to evaluate impact of tax and social security on packages for remunerating their expatriates. Housing Team prepares and analyzes housing data based on which clients calculate and include it into perks packages for their expatriates.  Both teams prepare and analyze data globally.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage and control the day to day operations and activities and programs in an assigned area
  • Ensure deliverables are prepared to satisfy the project requirements, quality and schedule
  • Understand of clients’ needs and expected service
  • Lead the team of 11 employees in all aspects (workload management, team’s engagement, coaching, talent development and annual appraisals process)
  • Provide guidance and necessary business information to the team
  • Participate in the implementation of divisional and company’s initiatives and strategies
  • Plan the capacity and monitor team’s performance and metrics
  • Lead through a change and promote process improvement environment

What you need to have:

  • Min. 5 years of business experience in total and min. 3 years’ of expertise in a Team Leader / Manager role
  • University degree in economics, statistics or finance
  • Fluency in English
  • Solid practical foundation in statistical analysis, understanding and interpretation of complex  data
  • Understanding of company’s vision and ability to cascade it into team’s individuals goals
  • Staffing, planning, and people management capabilities
  • Process improvement approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including advanced Excel skills)

What makes you stand out:

  • Min. 3 years of professional experience in finance related area
  • Practical knowledge of PIT systems and  mobility processes in HR
  • Knowledge of any other European language
