Tech-Internship at EY GDS - Junior SQL Specialist

EY GDS (Global Delivery Services) means 46.000 specialists providing globally IT, project management and strategic business services to EY member firms. In addition we deliver support and solutions to clients from all over the world.

Within last few years our portfolio of IT services within EY Global Delivery Services became wide spread around the globe. We are running multiple international, from small through medium-to large software implementation projects worldwide, amongst other working on implementing web and cloud based solutions leveraging most of modern technologies.

The opportunity

With a constant growth of our business and customers’ needs we are willing to move our projects on the new track. We are able to offer you a Junior SQL Specialist Internship with an intensive training program. You will use the most advanced technology stack and you will have an opportunity to implement new solutions. You will work with the most recognizable and influential players on the financial markets within the challenging projects. 

Your key responsibilities

As the Intern you will have opportunity to try yourself in the role of Junior SQL Specialist. Your main responsibility will be providing support in various project tasks assigned respectively to your skills and project needs. You may work on such activities like data preparation and cleansing for migration, testing SAP solutions and preparing solutions in demo systems. You will also get opportunity to learn BODS and other technologies used in Data Migration process. You will work with more experienced colleagues to gain consultant skills. It is a great opportunity to start your journey as a SAP consultant.

Skills and attributes for success

• You’ll successfully get to know and gain understanding about full cycle data migration in SAP environment
• You’ll enthusiastically enhance your core SAP technology knowledge and experience

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Good analytical  thinking
• SQL knowledge allowing writing queries using 5-10 tables 
• Autonomy in problems solving and knowledge seeking
• Good English command

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Project stages knowledge
• Excel medium level
• Very good communication skills
• Sense of humour
