About the project
We envision a world in which everyone receives inspiring education. Where people live to their full potential. To achieve this, we are developing an AI-enabled platform that improves the learning and teaching experience in schools and universities across the world. We create the platform with a particular consideration for schools in developing countries and provide tools to increase their budgets (see www.humandev.org) and measure learning progress. Humandev is a growing startup team led by successful software entrepreneurs.
Your responsibilities
You will face a lot of challenging tasks, explore new technologies and apply them to real problems faced by schools, teachers and students. You'll actively participate in development and decision making, conduct code reviews of junior developers and take on the role of a mentor. Expect your tasks and technology to be ever evolving.
We are on a fun and rewarding mission to make schools great everywhere and will need to adapt our approach along the way, based on what we learn.
Our requirements
Ambitious, intelligent, analytical
Passion for contributing to humanity
Excellent competence in NestJS and Next.js
You enjoy working with Junior developers and helping them grow professionally
At least 3 years of experience in a senior role in a development team
Structured approach to work
University degree in IT, physics, engineering, mathematics or another related field
Excellent proficiency of English, or willingness to reach that level fast
Optional
Knowledge of Belarusian or Russian is highly welcome
Knowledge of Python will be a plus as we also work with AI and data science
